Campaign Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

This policy explains how The Million Pixel Project campaign works and how contributions are used in support of Echo Ridge Retreat.

Purpose of the campaign

The Million Pixel Project raises funds towards creating Echo Ridge Retreat, a proposed sanctuary in the countryside surrounded by nature intended to support veterans, serving personnel and blue-light workers.

How contributions are made

All contributions are made through the official GoFundMe campaign. This website does not collect or process any payments. Every £1 contributed sponsors one pixel collectively towards the one-million-pixel goal.

How funds are intended to be used

Funds raised are intended to contribute towards land, cabins, facilities and the development of the retreat and its wellbeing programmes. As an early-stage vision, funds support the overall goal of bringing Echo Ridge Retreat closer to reality.

If the target is not reached

Contributions are made and held through GoFundMe and are handled under GoFundMe’s applicable terms and the organiser’s campaign arrangements. Any funds raised will still go towards moving Echo Ridge Retreat closer to reality. We do not make any separate refund promise, as contributions are governed by GoFundMe’s terms.

Progress figures

Until an automatic integration with GoFundMe is confirmed, the progress figures shown on this website are maintained manually by the organiser and may differ from the live GoFundMe total.

The reveal and image

When the campaign reaches £1,000,000, the hidden photograph will be revealed. Registered supporters who meet the stated requirements will be invited by email to receive a high-resolution digital copy. The exact fulfilment process will be confirmed after the reveal.

Transparency

The Million Pixel Project is an independent fundraising campaign. We do not claim registered charity status. Any official registration details will be published on this website if and when they are confirmed.
