Echo Ridge Retreat (“we”, “us”) runs The Million Pixel Project fundraising campaign. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights. For any questions, contact us at hello@echoridge.co.uk.
Who we are
The Million Pixel Project is an independent fundraising campaign in support of Echo Ridge Retreat, founded by Jason Howard. You can reach us at hello@echoridge.co.uk.
Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us when you register as a supporter:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Approximate contribution amount and date (optional, self-reported)
- Optional GoFundMe display name
- Your consent and Supporters Wall preferences
We do not collect or store any payment or card details — all contributions are made and processed securely through GoFundMe.
How we use your information
- To send you campaign updates and the reveal announcement
- To invite you to receive the high-resolution image after a successful reveal
- To display your first name and surname initial (or “Anonymous Supporter”) on the Supporters Wall, only if you opt in
Our legal basis for processing is your consent, which you give when registering. You can withdraw it at any time.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. Contributions made on GoFundMe are subject to GoFundMe’s own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Data retention
We keep your registration details for as long as the campaign is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to fulfil the image and update commitments, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to unsubscribe from communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@echoridge.co.uk and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
